Hello Beauties!
It’s National Cleanse Your Skin Week! I must admit, I had never heard of this before but when I was made aware of it, I was psyched! Anytime I can talk about skincare I get excited!🤗
So I thought this would be a great time to share the skincare routine for all ages. Yes, it doesn’t matter what age you are, this routine applies to all. So let’s get to it.
Let’s start by reviewing a skin routine chart. This is a baseline you should be following on a monthly basis. It may seem like a lot, but it isn't. You should invest in your skin and a skincare routine to always look your absolute best. Remember, consistency is key for best results.
Right now, I would like you to save the below image to your device so you will always have it available. I will be creating more this week to make your life easier.
Let's start off with the skincare routine you should perform on a monthly basis. It's always a great to have a facial every month even if going to an esthetician is not in your budget. The following information will help you learn about what happens during a facial for awareness or guide you on how to perform your own facials at home.😉
A basic facial is a skin treatment that cleanses pores, exfoliates away dead skin cells, and treats common skin concerns with a custom mask. This multi-step process is meant to rejuvenate and nourish your faces, making skin appear healthier and younger. It is also a popular spa treatment to pamper and relax, right up there with a massage.
Each facial begins with a consultation that helps the esthetician determine the right products for your skin type and concerns. Once that's been determined, the relaxing part begins! Most basic facials include some version of the following five steps:
- Cleanse
- Exfoliate (This can be done with a scrub, scrubbing tool or with a peel)
- Extractions (extractions should be performed by an esthetician)
- Massage (you can massage your face and neck with ease)
- Mask
@Georgina – I’m so glad to hear that! I’ve released the blog about serums today. It’s title: National Cleanse Your Skin Week – Daily Skin Routine. It’s part one of the daily skincare routines blog (there are two). Check it out and let me know your thoughts on it.
